If you are interested in joining the Raptor Pirates, You must join through "Darkness" on the combine web site. Come by the Raptor Pirates message boards and introduce your self, and arrange for a pick up. Then you will be placed into a division in the Raptor Pirates as soon as possible.

Jobs	Primary Skill Selections
Special forces: Trooper	High general and ground skills
Special forces: Heavy Weapons	High general and ground skills (emphasis on strength, vigor, weapons skills, and targeting)
Special forces: Medic	High general and ground skills (emphasis on Medical treatment and dodge)
Navy: Fighter Pilot	Star fighter/Freighter Piloting Star fighter/Freighter Space Combat Star fighter/Freighter Air combat Targeting Space Command
Navy: Cap Ship Pilot	Cap Ship Piloting Cap Ship Space Combat Cap Ship Air Combat Targeting Space Command (Naval Tactics, and Air command also help)
Intel: Operatives	High general and social skills (emphasis on stealth, computer operations, theft, diplomacy, and perception)

When Making your character please try to pick a race and skills that will help in your chosen field (i.e. if you want to be in special forces good races to be would be Wookies, Nogori, or Defel)

what is important is to specialize your character don't spend one point on each skill pick a few things and be REALLY good at them!

However you can be what ever you want and make your character what ever you want. Though it should also be said your skills will largely influence becoming a member of a division and will also be considered in promotions
